Pensado Vintage King Gear Expo this Saturday!

Do you seriously lust over great gear? Are you in the market for the latest and greatest? Or are you looking to connect with more of the Los Angeles-based pros in the industry? Looking to jump on a project or two, maybe meet some homegrown talent that’s ready to go big?

Get thyself to the Pensado Vintage King Gear Expo.

If you work in or are planning on working in music or sound, you do not want to miss this happening. Having gone for four years straight, The Pensado Vintage King Gear Expo is the perfect place to meet like-minded gear heads, try out new equipment, and talk with company reps from all of the best names in audio. You’ll also have the chance to mingle with celebrity guests, listen to live acts, and win some very nice prizes. As an added treat, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and chat up Herb Trawick and Dave Pensado of that audio-tastic show so near and dear to our hearts–Pensado’s Place.

Unlike so many events here in Los Angeles, this expo is totally free to the public. It’s going down Saturday, June 11th, 2016, from 10 am to 4 pm. The event will be held at Vintage King Los Angeles, located at 1176 W. Sunset Los Angeles, CA 90012.

Register NOW.

The Gear Expo’s list of sponsors and supporters is practically a who’s who of the audio engineering world including: Ableton, Avid, Audio-Technica, Apogee, API, DTS, Infrasonic, The Blackbird Academy, and yours truly, The Recording Connection.

Gear heads, audio engineers, producers, and music industry professionals from all walks of life flock to The Gear Expo to assess this year’s new products, hear new and exciting acts, and meet like-minded individuals. In an industry that’s built upon what and who you know, The Gear Expo is the perfect place to expand your social network and get going in music.

The Gear Expo happens twice yearly. Once in Los Angeles and once in Nashville. Over the course of its existence its become one part trade show, and one part block party. We call it a good time.

In past years, the Gear Expo has included Recording Connection’s Consultant Brian Kraft and Chief Executive Officer, James Petulla, as showcased guests. We’ve had RC mentors Ryan Hewitt (Lady Gaga, The Lumineers, Angus & Julia Stone) and Sean Giovanni (The Wallflowers, Clint Black) at the Recording Connection booth to answer questions about the program and talk shop with fellow music pros. We’ll be there again this year. How? It’s a surprise. If you’re there, you’ll know sooner than anyone else.

So if you’re in L.A. or anywhere in Southern California get yourself to this event! Create those opportunities and have fun rubbing elbows with L.A’s best and brightest!
